Our top selling, lightweight, water based personal lubricant with a blend of hydrating Aloe Vera and New Zealand’s native Harakeke extracts, this unique Certified Organic, pure and luxurious natural personal lubricant is great for sex, sensitive skin, and toxin-free pleasure for women and men. Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) a deeply moisturizing and skin soothing - aids in healing and hydration of sensitive tissues.

Guar Gum (Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba) made from ground guar beans to act as a thickening agent.

Microcare DB – a blend of an organic acid with benzyl alcohol which is used for the gentle preservation of personal care products.

Harakeke Extract (Phormium tenax) has skin softening, healing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Citric Acid (Acetic Acid) found in citrus fruits, this is a natural preservative and pH adjusting agent.

Rumer's oil-based personal lubricant is only compatible with polyurethane and nitrile condoms and silicone based toys; not latex or polyisoprene condoms.

Can I use water based lube with condoms & toys?

Rumer's lube is water-based and compatible with all condoms and toys.

Why use preservatives in the water based lube? Are they safe?

Our formulation contains dehydroacetic acid and benzyl alcohol as the primary preservatives, which have global approval for virtually every personal care and cosmetic application, and have not been tested on animals.

Great product to use. Perfect consistency, non-smelling, lightweight on skin and silky smooth. Stays in place and lubricates for entire duration. VERY happy with product, A++. Knowing that the lube is organic is the major plus - after all it's being used in some very precious areas! The lube itself has a pleasant consistency and neutral smell. It dries quickly on it's own, but when combined with other fluids it is an effective lube = )

Store owner replied: Hi Silvia, as Rumer water based features aloe as a key ingredient it will dry over time and absorb. If this occurs you can reactivate the the lube by applying water with fingertips and it will spring back into action. We hope this helps, all the best.

Good slippery product in elegant and understated packaging, although a little impractical to use compared with a smaller, softer squeeze container - which can comfortably wander round the bed within easy reach at all times.

Amazing. Best lube ever. Do nice to use. Lovely non discript pump bottle that can live on my bedside table and looks like moisturiser; easy to use, no mess, not sticky, does not stain or make sheets sticky, and I never feel like I need to go wash it off because it feels nice and soft on my skin afterwards and then gently disappears. Best product ever. I recommend it too everyone.

Really disappointed ☹️ I read a few reviews before buying and saw someone mention that they found this product had a very strong chemical scent whilst using and myself and my husband found this also to be true. The texture seemed promising, however having to reapply the product numerous times led to a messy, awkward situation. Being perimenopausal my body needs some assistance and unfortunately Rumer hasn’t helped. Will continue on with my search for something that will be better suited to our needs and wants.

I bought both to try and tbh i thought id like the oil one better BUT the water is deliciously creamy while still feeling light. My favorite. The oil is extra thick and creamy and a little goes a long way...my husband's fav.
